YefriDev provides the VeneTasa: Monitor de Divisas mobile application. This policy details how we handle technical information to ensure a safe and private experience while monitoring exchange rates.
Our application is designed with "Privacy by Design." We do not require accounts or personal identification.
• Local Preferences: We use SharedPreferences to store your theme settings and notification intervals directly on your device.
• Price History: A local cache of the last 100 queries is kept on your phone for offline viewing. We do not have access to this data.
To provide real-time updates, we utilize the following system resources:
• Background Tasks (Workmanager): Used to fetch the latest rates from BCV without needing the app to be open.
• Notifications: Required to alert you about significant price changes or daily summaries.
• Internet Access: Used strictly to perform HTTP GET requests to official data sources.
The app uses MethodChannels to communicate with the Android system specifically for updating the Home Screen Widget. This process is entirely local and no data is transmitted to external servers during this synchronization.
We retrieve public information from:
• Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV): Official rates for USD and EUR.
• Binance P2P: Reference rates for USDT.
We do not share your device information with these entities.
We implement connection timeouts and error handling to ensure network requests are secure and do not over-consume your mobile data or battery. All data processing happens on the client-side (your device).
You have full control over your data:
• You can disable background monitoring at any time via the Settings menu.
• Deleting the app or clearing the app cache will permanently remove all stored preferences and history from your device.
